Seeing America By Rail- Day 6

Yesterday's pictures, coming somewhat on time (?) for once!

Mooooooorning in Montana! It looked freezing out there.

Taken through the windows in the lounge car on the way down to breakfast.

We went through Glacier National Park; it was really gorgeous.

The snow started to lessen a little as we came out of the park, but not by much.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

Horses! We saw a lot of them, actually. There were quite a few ranches in this area.

As we continued on, we came across areas that looked like they'd had a lot of flooding-- I'm guessing more from melting snow than rain.

Sunset over Montana countryside.

I was awake for the very first stop in North Dakota too, but since we were about two hours behind schedule, it was already dark and I didn't get any pictures.

horses but still no cowboys, hunh? I guess they don't hang out much in Glacier National Park. You should take this trip again during another season; I think Glacier is even more beautiful in summer. Hope you made it home OK last night. Your grandma and I were thinking of you and your folks on the highway after midnight. L, AC

I'm actually coming home tonight; my train was delayed and I ended up spending the night in Chicago. I'll post the pictures from the last few days of my trip soon (maybe today!).
