The play was AWESOME. Seriously, I think I liked it better than the movie. Heh. Obviously, there were some changes they had to make- the whole fishing trip scenes were out, as were the outdoor scenes (they played basketball indoors in the dayroom- heh). And some little scenes were added, too, though the added stuff may very well have been from the book (which I *still* haven't read, even though I bought it last June). Also, a few of the male roles were changed to female roles to make the cast more gender balanced (Hallie Gremlitz was 'Miss Martini' and Sam Modigliani was 'Miss Scanlon'- I guess they figured girls playing guy parts would have been even more awkward than having a mixed gender ward in the 60s). But still- I loved it. I think it was the best school play I've gone to see.
Cam was McMurphy (of course), and he did an excellent job as always (heh- mom and I thought we saw him riding his bike downtown today, so we pulled over the congratulate him... but it turned out to be some random UNH student). Christian LaCourse played the Chief, and he was very good, as well- particularly with his facial expressions, and the very last scene (which I was actually slightly disappointed with in the play- he didn't throw anything through the window to break out, he just got the keys from Harding and unlocked it). Brett Chamberlain was Harding, and he was awesome, as was Max (or Sam? I think it was Max, but I can never tell those two apart) Eggers as Billy Bibbit. And Jessie Miller made a very, very creepy Nurse Ratched (I couldn't help but think some of her lines along with her in my head- ones that I knew when I was considering auditioning for the part).
... Yeah. Basically everyone rocked. Especially Cam, but it's pretty much set in stone that he's going on to a professional actor already (I mean, he's already been in independant films!), so...

But yes, that's pretty much it. I think it scarred Jenny for life, though. Heh. She gets creeped out by weird/depressing stuff easily...
