"National Hack Myspace Day" fails.

Each time this site's email notifications start to fail for one reason or another, I am starkly reminded of how much I depend on them. I am often far too ADD to sit and go online for hours at a time; now that they're back, I can actually use LJ without sitting at my computer the entire time like a mindless refreshing drone (... there is a reason why I was pretty much only in one thread yesterday, DDD's HMD notwithstanding). It's AWESOME.

And on an unrelated note, next week I'm hoping to buy a cellphone with one of those little pull-out keyboards, because we have a family-wide texting plan now. So excited.

It's like a religious experience.

This is probably the most amazing thing I've read all day-- made even weirder by the fact that I know who all of these people are, because I've been stalking that board (in its various incarnations) since 2003/2004 (despite the fact that it was an 18+ forum and I was underage almost all of that time; if I had actually posted instead of just lurking I'm sure my true age would have been incredibly obvious, because when I was thirteen I acted like I was about nine).

Even though this was posted like two months ago, between this, that, and the other thing I still feel like today is The Day Of Internet Wank. Gah. Iiiiiit's probably too much to hope that DDD won't end up on RP!S yet again, isn't it.
