I feel old.

Mark: "People in the 1600s let their kids drink because they weren't worried about high-speed horse and buggy crashes."

Actually, I don't feel all that old. I definitely feel like "nineteen" is old, but I don't really feel old myself. ... Even though I do kind of feel nineteen. WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SO CONFUSING ABOUT THINGS.

We're going to the lake today, and actually spending the night (Jenny'll probably cop out, though) because there aren't any tenants this weekend, but otherwise I am just being SO. LAZY.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  Nineteen isn't old.  :P  But you said something about only being old for you, not for other people.  I should hope so.

Have a fantastic day!  Nothing wrong with being lazy on your birthday, but make sure to have fun when you go out to the lake.  8D

DON'T WORRY I DON'T THINK YOU'RE OLD. :P Though when I'm your age I'll probably be all, "OH GOD when did I become an adult? D: D: D:"

I'm just lazy in the summer in general. It's summertime; actually getting something done would be a TRAVESTY, apparently. XD

THAT'S GOOD TO KNOW.  :P  I SOMETIMES FEEL OLD BECAUSE THE MAJORITY OF MY FRIENDS ARE YOUNGER, AND NOT EVEN BORN IN THE SAME DECADE AS ME.  ...I did that at twenty-one.  D:  D:  D:  Becoming an adult will sneak up on you.  Don't be afraid of it, though.  It has its good points.  Focus on enjoying your last year as a teenager!

Summer is -- or should be -- a time for reading fanfics and RPing.  ;D  Seriously, it's a slow, lazy time of year.  A time to relax and... not think about much of anything, apparently!

I usually just do a lot of reading, using the computer for various nefarious purposes, and spending time outside. XD This year I'm motivated to do even less, productivity-wise, because I spent a lot of time doing homework for my summer class in June.

DON'T THINK I MISSED YOUR STRIKETHROUGH.  And, hey, having done all that, you're entitled to weeks of doing nothing if that's what you choose.

[identity profile] banerry.livejournal.com 2009-07-21 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
... To be fair, I would have done the weeks of nothing bit anyway. 8)

As someone of like mind, I can't possibly look down on you for that.  ;D
