Er, I don't have anything really to contribute, but something I've been meaning to tell you for a while is that I now keep a notebook of profquotes, sorta the way you did with teachers.

Reason? The math newsletter is published every two weeks, and one of the most popular sections is the profQUOTEs section, where people send in funny things their profs say. It's so notorious that one of my profs even recommended it, and another prof even said something ridiculous, and followed it with "This is going to end up in profQUOTEs."

Anyway, after the first week of classes, I was mildly annoyed that so many of the good quotes didn't get in, so I resolved to bring a notebook to my classes and jot everything down. Now, every two weeks I send the newsletter a massive email with all the funny quotes from the last two weeks.

Maybe, when I'm not so busy lazy. :P It seems most people just send things in whenever they remember a quote. I send in a massive list. In fact, I just got this from an email from an academic rep over the mailing list.

"Did you notice that almost half of the profQUOTES come from our class? ... Good work everybody (both students and profs), keep submitting and let's keep up our dominance of the profQUOTES!"

Haha, 95% of the quotes from my class were sent in by me. :P
