CALLING ALL AFCERS.
ANNIKA. GUS. MARIAM. Cinna and I want you to come join Plurk and talk to us so we can have chatty funtimes like the days of old!
... Other than that this is kind of a useless post, but it's 4:30AM; what did you expect? Oh God I have to get up for class tomorrow.

1.
I'm technically no longer an AFCer. I was lurking for about half a year and now I don't even lurk. I don't even plan on going back to visit.2. Another thing to join? And from Wiki, it's like Twitter? [/lame excuse]
Except that it's really tempting. My life has been lacking in lulz lately.no subject
I'm the same, though I go back and post like two comments every three months, or something. I don't think I'll ever *fully* quit it unless it goes down.IT'S FAR COOLER THAN TWITTER. Much more manageable and like MSN. And it will bring great lulz if we can actually get people together to use it.

I'm no longer an AFCer either. I haven't gone on in forevs, and the last time I did was only to look at the quotes thread. But you should still join, because I miss you! :D

The privacy settings seem to be even worse than Facebook's.DO NOT WANT!Is it even possible to, I dunno, have it not blatantly tell the world everything there is to know about me? Is it possible to to have an account with a "fake" identity (ie like LJ) and not like an RL identity (ie like my Facebook)?
So stupid of me. I'm lucky there was a delete option - but nothing is ever deleted on the Intarwebz. Oh wait, look what I dug up: "You can delete your Plurk account at any time from your account page; however, please note that some identification and contact information may remain in our records for a short period of time."Wait, they're Canadian? How can they exist when even Facebook violates Canadian privacy laws? You can tell that I'm Not Impressed. :Pno subject

even though I should be working right nowI tried again. It turns out you can manually change your location and hide it, but this option was under "Account Information" and not "Privacy." Not only that, but yesterday I couldn't even find "Account Information" because it's not in the same place as "Privacy."Long story short... it is possible to hide private information, but it was set to "public" by default and I had to jump through hoops to figure out how to do it.
Sort of like Facebook, actually. My nickname on there is (unsurprisingly) gussiki.
