corknut | Fourth day of spring break!

And already we're having a ~*weather crisis*~. There was flooding yesterday and the day before (not as bad here as it was in some areas, but still), and the main road was closed for a while so we couldn't get out. Our driveway, basement, and yard was also underwater! Now it's receding, but the water in the basement blew out the hot water heater so we've all been taking freezing showers. (Everyone on plurk has already heard me complain about this ad nauseam.) We're hoping that'll be fixed by the end of the week. I'm at least hoping I'll be done by the time school starts again, because I'd really hate to have to actually start using the gross dorm showers.

Speaking of school, winter's ending, which means I... will hopefully stop being such a complete failboat in terms of actually GETTING TO EVERY CLASS. I'm also hoping that I won't be half-asleep during the day. Seriously, humans should just hibernate through the winter. (Or at least I should. More than I already do, that is.)

As for break so far, I haven't really... done much. I might visit with some people or take a day trip or two, but on shorter vacations, I generally just prefer bumming around and pretending that homework doesn't exist (though I am working on my French paper, whoo!). I might drive up to Nahant with my dad tomorrow to look at all the crazy-huge mansions.
